I Need Milk

Last night Janie, Cean and Dimitri came over for dinner and a visit. As the evening was drawing to a close, I started getting Evan ready for bed by setting him up to the sink to brush his teeth. During this time, Dimitri went up to Gary and said, "I need milk." Gary didn't get up and get him some, so he came over to me and said, "I need milk." When I didn't do anything either, he went in search of the other member of the household to see if he could get this milk situation taken care of. Dimitri went into the bathroom where Evan was. I stood in the hall and listened to this conversation.

Dimitri - Hi Evan

Evan - Hi Ditri

Dimitri - Evan, I need milk.

Evan just kept on brushing his teeth while staring at Dimitri as is he were saying, and you think I can help you? I can't reach the milk either! Dimitri just kept staring back at him. They stood there for a minute just looking at each other totally oblivious to the fact that I was standing there watching them and telling everyone in the living room what was going on. Then Dimitri noticed me standing there and said bye bye to me, as he closed the bathroom door. It was pretty cute. Hopefully Dimitri got some milk when they got back to Grandma and Grandpa's house!
